Qualifications
Familiarity with aerial or underground telecom construction is preferred. MVR and drug screen required. Ability travel on weekdays and flexible schedule are preferred.
Other Requirements
Subcontractors with own tools and vehicles are acceptable, personnel who would like to become employees are also welcome. In house employees would be provided with tools and vehicles.
Job Description
Work will be mainly performed in central and norther Illinois regions for current cable TV and internet providers. Ability to place fiber optic cable in multiple manners, coaxial cable and supporting hardware are required. Interested underground personnel should be familiar with Vermeer equipment and able to perform work unsupervised in distant locations. Lodging is provided for inhouse personnel for jobs that require out of town stays. Contracts are in place to ensure steady work in a variety of areas through out the company.
