Job Description
Utility Construction Company is seeking Project Supervisors/Managers for Outside Plant Division. A minimum of two-five years experience, basic computer skills, and knowledge of excel are required.
Listed is a summary or responsibilities that are not all-inclusive:
*Establish weekly and monthly routines for technicians, crews, and sub-contractors
*Maintain department budgets
*Manage work flow (restoration, utility locates, vehicle repairs, contract labor, staff, etc.)
*Ensure billing is completed accurately on a daily basis
*Ensure appropriate inventory levels
*Identify problems, provide solutions, assess resources, and communicate effectively
*Anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts
*Manage quality control process and perform regular safety/quality inspections
Applicants must have a High School Diploma equivalent and proficient knowledge of construction practices. Some college or technical school is preferred. Those considered will have strong organizational skills, be customer service oriented, be a strong team motivator, communicate effectively both verbally and written, and must have a background in project management. Applicants may be required to travel between various job site locations.
