Qualifications
We need someone with telephone or cable line experience and/or telephone construction experience (Cable TV line experience acceptable). CDL a plus or willing to obtain CDL.
Other Requirements
Use of other equipment such as backhoe, and ditch witch helpful. Must be able to pass pre-employment background check to include Department of Motor Vehicle, criminal, and drug. EOE
Job Description
Be proficient in areas of telecommunications cable, fiber, and some manhole work.
Other duties may consist of using mechanized equipment such as backhoe, trucks, plows, trenchers and manual equipment such as shovels, rack, pick axe, post hole diggers to install buried cable, fiber, and placement of pedestals along right of ways. Duties may also include getting up and out of back of truck setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and flagging traffic by holding stop and slow signs
