Applicants should have their own transportation (e.g. trucks with Ladder, bucket trucks, etc), basic tools and meters.
Job Description
GWC is looking for CATV & I/R technicians that can help us check what the other service partners did. The primary duty is to take measurements that will be turned in to our client for comparison to what they got from their service partners.
• Skill Set-
o Able to use a signal level meter for detailed measurements to include
? MER
? Full spectrum trace
? signal levels
? hum
? equipment platform recognition
? Record pad and EQ values
? Recognize fuse and/or shunt
• Equipment needs-
o Able to measure full spectrum frequencies as needed for each line up.
o MER
o Sweep trace storage with adjacent channel variance detail as well as overall peak to valley
o Hum
o C/N
We will also consider I/R technicians that are willing to learn this type of work.
