Pay rate is 60/10/10
Pay is every other week and is 40 days out, pay advance available after the first week of work with correctly submitted paperwork.
Qualifications
Seeking experienced DIRECTV contract techs with current SBCA certification (or ability to become certified within 60 days) must be knowledgeable of all recent DIRECTV technology, we do not train.
Other Requirements
Presentable, reliable truck or van with DIRECTV signage, all tools & equipment, including a min. 28’ ladder, all supplies, poles and mounts needed for installs. Must pass a criminal background check and have Contractors Liability Insurance.
Tech must wear DIRECTV uniform clothing while on site. Must have cell phone, Internet, email, printer/scanner.
Job Description

1099 contractor position requires presentable, reliable truck or van with DIRECTV signage, all tools & equipment, including a min. 28’ ladder, all supplies, poles and mounts needed for installs. Tech keeps 100% of custom fee’s (per maximum allowable charge rates). Must pass a criminal background check and have Contractors Liability Insurance.
Tech must wear DIRECTV uniform clothing while on site. Must have cell phone, Internet, email, printer/scanner. Signed and correct work orders and related forms must be scanned nightly.
Tech is required to pick up equipment when scheduled at our warehouse and as often as needed to facilitate the assigned work, tech also must email an accurate on hand equipment count at end of each week. In some areas tech must be available to receive truck shipments at our warehouse.
This is retailer work not HSP, no upgrades, there is no charge back for RPP however there are charge backs for missed appointment, no call no show, job not called in properly, late or incorrect paperwork and loss of sale due to tech.
If those charge backs worry you then you are not the person we are looking for. Many of our techs have NEVER had a charge back because they are reliable, responsible, diligent, conscientious, organized, efficient and excellent communicators. This is the type of tech we need more of, if this does not describe you please do not call.
Must have good customer service skills, Satellite/Cable TV installation work is part technician and part customer service. If you are not willing or able to provide good customer service you are working in the wrong industry.
In order to continue a relationship as our contracting partner you must be a team player with a good attitude and work ethic, have excellent phone communications with customers, call center and our management.
