Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Duties consist of using trucks, plows, trenchers and manual equipment such as shovels, rack, pick axe, post hole diggers to install buried cable, fiber,& placement of pedestals along right of ways. Duties may also include getting up and out of back of truck setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety barriers and flagging traffic by holding stop & out of back of truck setting up safety perimeter using signs.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Be able to climb in and out of bed of truck at heights form 3-6 feet. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
