Pay
Hourly rate based on experience. Production pay after 1 year or sooner if performance is excellent.
Qualifications
Experience prepping and splicing fiber optic cable. Familiar with fiber optic splice closures. OTDR testing, Optical power meter and Fiber Identifier.
Other Requirements
Hand tools are required. We supply all electronic equipment and bucket van.
Job Description
Prepping and fusion splicing fiber optic cable. Testing and troubleshooting. There will be day work and night work and sometimes a combination of both. Occasionally there are emergency calls to go on. Most of the work is currently in Pittsburgh, but you will need to travel when required.
