Job Description
Nexlink Global Services is looking for 2 MDU and Field Detailers to work in the Tri-State Area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule &/or participate in site survey walkouts of Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU) and Multi-Tenant Units (MTU). Using FTTP OSP and ISP engineering guidelines, policy directives & planning documents. Provide hand drawn high level and detail level schematics, stick maps/OSP fiber routing & required information to engineering group for drafting and design of final product.
During physical field visits, individual must be able to identify/recognize/propose using economically cost effective methods for pathway installation of molding/microduct/EMT/conduit from equipment locations to termination point [in unit].
Will work closely with customer, builders/developers, Property Managers, private owners & engineering team. May be required to go to design approval meetings
Track & monitor multiple projects
May be required to spend the day in outdoor activities [weather] , construction sites, attics & crawlspaces. Part or all of the day may be spent in an office environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
3 years field experience in an MDU/field telecommunications environment.
Familiar with FTTP practices
Computer literate in all listed applications.
•excel, word, Adobe & Outlook
•acad/ Visio [helpful but not necessary]
Must have neat penmanship & attention to DETAIL
Be able to work in fast pace environment with flexible schedule to meet deadlines
-Valid driver’s license
-Negative pre-employment drug test
-Criminal and MVR backgrounds meet company hiring criteria
