Starts
Start as soon as assessment crews turn areas in far safe entry and have damage assessment reports
Pay
Hourly and Piece rates will apply. Paper work must be turned in daily to get paid. OT,lodging will be in rates. Paid weekly for all approved work for individuals and terms for Corp to Corp. Sign on bonuses may be approved. We will do contract,W2,1099
Qualifications
Line crews must have T40s or equivalent, heavy cable trailers, all aerial tools and at least 5 years of references for major telco or Catv restoration or verifiable references for on going jobs. Telco splicers must have aerial experience with buckets or ladders and platforms. Must have spliced for a major telco property. Catv drop crews and triple play techs must have references and at least 3 years experience.
Other Requirements
Line crews will need chain saws, hot gloves, all safety signage and volt testers. Telco splicers will need test equipment, 710s and MS square splicing machines. CATV Drop crews will need ladders and signal meters, safety signage,and aerial crews will need cable trailers with T40 or equivalent buckets. Preference will be given to experience and age of equipment, and number of crews available.
Job Description
Storm restoration work from the point of landfall and all surrounding areas and states. We are a telco and Catv prime and will be working throughout this storm. Rates will be issued as soon as you or your company is vetted. References are a must with good contact #s and your insurance must be up to date. Individuals such as techs, telco and catv splicers will be required to have vehicle insurance certificates on file. Corps will have to have insurance on file before starting.
Preference will be given to experience, number of crews, age of equipment and response with insurance and references. You will get paid for your work on time as long as your paperwork is correct and your work is approved.
