We are looking for experienced technicians with certifications, vehicle and tools AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to work in Iowa and Northeastern Nebraska. We are looking for entry level and experienced technicians to work OH, IA,& NE territory within one month

Pay

Technicians paid piece work rate. Technicians will be given a WEEKLY gasoline stipend of $0.10 per mile. Also all technicians will be charged MINIMAL small parts costs to MAXIMIZE profit. All hotel costs covered. Pay will increase based on experience

Qualifications

Must: able to pass a background check and drug test, have a valid driver's license, vehicles must be in good shape (must have no decals or signage, and must be a Truck, Van, or SUV), be willing to work outside in a variety of weather, be willing to work weekends and flexible hours during the week, be able to read and comprehend instructions, documents, training tutorials, etc., be able to lift 75 lbs, have Contractors Insurance, be comfortable with heights and tight spaces, not exceed 325 lbs.

Other Requirements

Must have tools, power drills, birddog or aim meter, 28' fiberglass extension ladder, truck, van or suv. Must have good work ethic and integrity. FOR HUGHESNET, experienced and new technicians are welcome. Training will be provided by our in-house trainer. Technicians must come prepared with all necessary tools to complete the assigned work. Tools mimic those required by DIRECTV with a few variations. Pay is based on a piece work scale, please inquire for actual rates.

Pulse Communications, an exclusive DIRECTV® dealer and Home Service Provider, is expanding!!!!

We are looking for highly skilled SATELLITE TECHNICIANS to install, upgrade, and service DIRECTV® systems! We are also looking for Sales-Install and Fulfillment HughesNet Technicians for the Columbus, Ohio Region. If you are looking for a great financial opportunity come join our team today!

This position requires a Satellite Technician to come fully equipped with all necessary installation materials including but not limited to van/truck, 28' ladder, birddog signal meter or DIRECTV aim meter, all small tools including wire strippers and crimping tools and all other necessary installation items. This position also requires extended durations of "on the road" time in which technicians will be covering territories in Iowa and its municipalities. Technicians will receive WEEKLY gasoline stipend as well as will receive company provided lodging while "on the road". Technicians will also be charged MINIMAL small parts costs to ensure MAXIMUM profitability.

Pay checks received WEEKLY. You are paid the next week after an install!!! No waiting multiple weeks to receive paychecks!!!

Job Responsibilities:
Satellite Technicians with Pulse Communications are expected to be masters of their craft. Our technicians will be engaged in the repair and upgrading of existing DIRECTV systems and the installation of new DIRECTV systems for both commercial and residential accounts. Technicians are responsible for:
• Conduct Site Surveys to obtain proper ODU (dish) location, cable routing options, and determine possible installation problems.
• Being able to overcome any on-site obstacles that may prevent the assignment from being completed within the guidelines set forth by DIRECTV®
• Provide excellent customer service and support
o Educate the customer on proper use of their system, installation requirements, and how to contact Pulse Communications for future issues.
• Be able to diagnose and resolve DIRECTV® system issues that may arise in the field
• Maintain a revolving Inventory of equipment and parts and track the use of these parts with proper documentation.
• Managing a proper portfolio of installation, service, and upgrade documents and making sure that administrative personnel have access to these documents promptly at the end of each day.
• Adhere to Pulse Communications Installation Expectations which include those expectations handed down from DIRECTV®.

Education:
A satellite technician with Pulse Communications is expected to have all SBCA training completed and update to date paperwork.

Must be willing to work outside in a variety of weather. Must be willing to work weekends and flexible hours during the week. Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, documents, training tutorials, etc. Must be able to lift 75lbs. Must have Contractors Insurance with Pulse listed as additionally insured. Must be comfortable in tight or confined spaces. Must be willing to climb ladders roughly 40 feet in height. Must NOT exceed 325 lbs due to the safety restrictions on our ladders.
