Pay
Hourly wage is based on experience. Full Benefits Offered. Per Diem & Hotel Pay available when travel is required. Company trucks provided for Foremen
Qualifications
A) Must have at least one to two years experience in the utility construction industry as an operator/foreman.
B) Must have competent experience in reading CATV & Telephone prints.
C) Must have an insurance acceptable, valid driver’s license
D) Must be able to obtain a Class A CDL.
E) Must have training in utility safety standards.
F) Must have references supporting utility experience.
G) Must have progressive responsibility work pattern in employment history.
Other Requirements
Prepare cable route.
Expose existing utilities.
Set pedestals.
Drive ground rods.
Supervise and complete restoration.
Compact trench lines.
Read CATV and/or telephone prints.
Operate equipment (backhoe, trencher, plow, box pusher, tamper, boring).
Shore or slope trench or excavation when conditions dictate.
Identify soil types.
Feed cable.
Supervise and prepare job site with cones, signs, barricades, and lighting.
Supervise and ensure that job site is secure at the end of the day.
