Qualifications
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of CATV construction
•Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
•Strong problem-solving skills
•Highly organized
•Ability to occasionally lift 100 lbs.
•Must have earned high-school diploma or equivalent
•At least 2 years of cable construction experience
•Occasional overnight travel required
*Must have valid driver's license
Job Description
Responsibility is to oversee all day to day activities of the job to which he/she is assigned. Specific duties include:
•Prepare daily work assignments for personnel on-site.
•Responsible for the on-site maintenance of all records, notices, and specific reports required under the contract or by the company.
•Responsible for workforce compliance with all safety regulations including all OSHA requirements.
•Interact with customer representatives regarding work completion, and resolve conflicts when necessary.
•Responsible for the accurate tracking and security of all on-site personnel.
•Supervise job completion and maintain compliance with contract provisions.
•Filing complete and accurate accident reports (Workers Compensation, Auto and General Liability), including claim resolution with home owners.
•Review work and confirm its completion according to customer specifications.
•Responsible for vehicle maintenance and inventory control of all on-site equipment and tools.
•Supervise the accurate and timely completion of as-builts.
•Review and authorize payroll time sheets and daily work reports.
The Job Site Supervisor shall not have the authority to enter into any contract on behalf of the company. Any revisions or changes (including customer credits for damage, etc.) of the contractual obligations of the company’s customers will be first approved by the Director of Field Operations.
