Must have outside plant experience including trouble shooting, balancing of two way system, etc. Digital headend experience a plus. Applicant must have valid Drivers License. Applicant should have a minimum of three years experience.

Job Description
Family-Owned cable TV company looking for System Technician. Cable systems are located in SW Oklahoma near Lawton.
Major Duties to include:
Maintain CATV system comprising of 20+ Fiber Nodes
Maintain Forward & Reverse Paths providing HIS
Knowledge of NESC requirements
Maintain & Balance RF Levels for Analog & Digital Cable
Maintain Fiber Optic Network from Headend to Node
Instruct & Assist Installers with daily duties
Maintain weekly inventory logs
Assist with System upgrades & extensions
This position relates to everything from headend to the customer’s premise.
SCTE & NCTI certifications are a plus.
Southern Plains Cable and its affiliates are a growing company in SW Oklahoma. Currently the majority of the CATV systems are upgraded to 870 Mhz. Company is providing HSI and Digital Cable. Southern Plains is looking for an individual for long term employment to help lead the technical crews. Southern Plains is also investing heavily in FTTH, which will allow technician additional training opportunities to further their knowledge.
