Other Requirements
A valid CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement and current medical card, current vehicle insurance and reliable transportation are required for all positions. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and back ground check will be required. You will be requried to provide your own hand tools.
Job Description
IMMEDIATE openings for motivated and committed individuals. Year round work.
Aerial lineman:
Duties include, but are not limited to, pole placement, strand, copper and fiber optic placement, lashing cables, installing strand to proper tensions, installing conduits and placing inner ducts and cables in existing pathways. The ability to read and interpret construction blue prints, complete the required paperwork and as builts in a timely manner and the ability to maintain the equipment in your use. This position REQUIRES travel. This position requires Class B CDL with airbrakes at minimum.
Underground Tech:
Duties include, but are not limited to digging trenches, exploration pits, pot holes, locating existing utilities, placing conduit, entering and working in man holes / hand holes, placing cable and inner duct into existing pathways, running and maintaining equipment (vibratory plow, chain trencher, mini excavator, dump body truck), restoration of work areas. The ability to read and interpret construction blue prints, complete the required paperwork and as builts in a timely manner and the ability to maintain the equipment in your use.
