Pay is piece rate, from work line item prices. Paid bi-weekly, (W-2).Paid 50% Medical PPO health care, upon 120 day review. Uniform & Magnetic's supplied.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE OF ALL UNDERGROUND, OVERHEAD CONSTRUCTION PRACTICES, PRACTICES RELATED TO ENGINEERING, ROUTES FOR INSTALL OF CABLES. MUST UNDERSTAND INSTALLATION OF PHONE, MODEM & TV ROUTING. SUCH AS WALL FISH, COREDRILL & GENERAL ROUTING OF WIRES. FULL KNOWLEDGE OF NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODES, FOR COMMUNICATIONS, & GROUNDING, & HOW TO RUN OVERHEAD LINES. KNOWLEDGE OF STRAND MAPPING, & OVERHEAD GUYING, TV SYMBOLS & TYPES OF ACTIVES & PASSIVES, MUST HAVE GREAT PEOPLE SKILLS.
Other Requirements
Clean good running vehicle, footage wheel, range finder, pole stick, small step ladder, phone butt test set. Hand tools for opening wall plates & such. Template, clipboard, work boots, & neat penmanship & and good drawing skills. Must have neat appearance, & good work ethic. Must be able to re-locate at your expense to area working. Experience is a must!!!!
Job Description
Perform various tasks, commercial & residential surveys to verify what is needed & compatible,with offered service. Must call & schedule appointments, complete pre- survey & perform drawing showing all routes & information to perform install. Perform pole applications, by sticking, measuring pole, & fill out pole data surveys. Perform permit drawings . Find & verify fiber routes. Use computer to get all calls, then check in & attach drawings. Perform as-built of CATV plant. Perform strand mapping, both underground & above ground for new CATV placement. Be self managed & customer oriented. Performs work in a variety of situations, & conditions. Must go into basements, attics, & on roof tops to check all proposed routes thoroughly.
