Must Have a High School diploma or equivalent education, 2 years of expert experience with the sweep, balance, and certification of CATV RF amplifiers and nodes, forward and return spectrum. Also have expert knowledge of RF power meters, sweep systems, TDRs, and VOMs. Be proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Email, maps and GPS systems. Have Expertise with JDSU Stealthware and with JDUS SDA sweep systems. Have excellent organizational and communications skills.

• Valid Driver’s license with good driving record. • Ability to work from an aerial lift (bucket truck) • Ability to lift >50 lbs, handle 32’ extension ladders and work from heights over 20 feet. • Ability to work non-traditional hours.

This person will supervise the day to day operations of the broadband RF sweep of numerous CATV systems, sometime simultaneously, schedule resources to address the work that is at hand, reconcile the assigned and completed work, and ensure the redress of any discrepancies in performance of the workforce.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Produce comprehensive documentation of system performance.
• Maintain the interface with our customer’s local supervisors and management team.
• Plan, assign, and direct the work.
• Maintain maps reflecting completed work and any standing issues.
• Measure and document system performance using power meters, DMMs, TDRs, spectrum analyzers, and broadband sweep systems.
• Perform and document limited proof-of-performance testing on CATV systems.
