Now Hiring for Satellite Technician Sub Contractors
We are a well established Directv retailer/contractor on all jobs completed correctly. We have offices in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.
Earning Potential:
Techs can make $700-$1300 a week. On average one tech can do 4 to 6 jobs per day. Average tech is making 150 to 250 per day.
Requirements:
Experience Preferred. We will train the right candidate able to work with minimal supervision.
You provide your own tools, supplies, ladder and reliable vehicle capable of hauling tools/equipment and ladder. We provide the Directv equipment to be installed. Candidates must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background screen and have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. No Dui's in the last 3 years.
Job requires a combination of skills including effectively communicate with customers, working with minimal supervision and the drive to succeed at all tasks given. Contractors will be working in the field directly with our customers. Job requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working outdoors, use of hand tools and working in attics and/or crawl spaces.
Responsibilities:
1. Plans installations by evaluating location, locating line of sight, laying-out equipment and wiring plan.
2. Establishes satellite system by installing dish and receivers, running and pulling cable, programming and calibrating equipment, adhering to codes, regulations and standards.
3. Verifies system by testing equipment and connections; identifying and correcting problems.
4. Activate the customer's service and incorporate customers' existing equipment.
5. Maintains records by documenting installation, service and repairs.
6. Repairs service by listening to customer's description of problems, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing problems by replacing and/or upgrading components.
7. Communicate with the customer and ensure that the customer thoroughly understands how to work the system.
8. Maintain safe work environment by following safe working practices.
