Hourly paid full time employment. Full company benefits after one month. Top rates paid dependent on experience.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 3 years fibre splicing experience. Ability to use an OTDR, PM&LS and Live Fibre Identifier. All required safety training and equipment will be provided. Must be reliable and provide job references. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is a must.
Other Requirements
Relocation assistance may be provided for the right applicant. Must have own hand tools but specialty tools will be provided. We are expanding and require ten additional splicers.
Job Description
The position involves splicing and testing large and small count fiber cables in an urban environment. Splices can be aerial, pedestal, rack or manhole located. We also provide 24/7 emergency restoration and repair services. The work is ongoing and our customers are the major carriers in the Canadian marketplace. Litewave is among the largest independent fiber optic splicing companies in Canada.
