Requirements
This is an outdoor position and qualified candidates must:
•Have knowledge of coaxial cable, batteries and cable modems
•Know how to use hand tools and a VOM
•Have valid A driver’s license with a good record
•Have the ability and knowledge to drive and operate an aerial lift (bucket) truck
•Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
•High School Diploma or equivalent - military training/associate degree a plus.
Other Requirements
•Must be able to carry various tools/equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
•Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail for accurate data gathering and reporting.
•Strong working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
•Punctual, regular and consistent attendance is required.
•Must be extremely customer focused and must maintain a professional demeanor.
•Willingness to attain industry and vendor certifications.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Job Description
Responsible for the testing and preventative maintenance of standby power supplies and batteries as well as the operation of status monitoring equipment. Training is available to qualified candidates.
