Job Description
Area Supervisor;
Responsible for supervising a team of technicians providing Installations & Service to our client.
Meets or exceeds the MSO’s standards for Quality Control.
Instruct technicians on proper test equipment usage and troubleshooting techniques.
Manage technician schedules to ensure the proper completion of all scheduled Installation/Service work.
Supports and motivates technicians by continually monitoring progress and metrics.
Conduct technician reviews along with providing ongoing open communications with team to include coaching, mentoring, and career development.
Position reports to Operations Manager.
Responsibilities To Include, but not limited to the following:
Manages all activities and workloads of the Installation staff.
Directs the daily operations of Installations.
Materials & CPE management.
Ongoing technician reviews including coaching, mentoring, to insure their metrics meet company standards.
Analyzes operations and performance to assure operational efficiencies through productivity,
QC and customer satisfaction.
Coordinates responses to customer issues with a strong sense of urgency.
Works with MSO, to maintain an in-depth technical knowledge of new products being deployed.
Qualifications;
Clean MVR/DMV.
Pass background check.
Pass drug screening.
5 years’ experience with triple play installations.
3 years’ as a successful field supervisor.
Ability to install all types of cable and run service calls to completion.
Able to diagnose all types of signal faults.
Ability to work from heights of 32 feet or more.
Lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
Physically capable of bending, twisting, squatting, crawling in and out of tight spaces.
Work outside in all weather conditions.
Above average knowledge of PC usage.
Microsoft Office proficient.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional offered;
Health/Dental & Aflac Insurance after 90 days. Company/Employee share costs.
Paid vacations after one full year of employment.
Fully outfitted late model truck.
