Qualifications
• 10 years in the cable industry
• 5+ years in cable construction
• Strong fiber background
• Experience managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects
• Working knowledge of Bentley / AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Other Requirements
Candidate must have own vehicle in acceptable condition (to be determined by hiring manager) - mileage reimbursement will be paid at standard Federal rate. Overtime will be required at times based on volume of work. Some travel.
Job Description
Position will perform site surveys for commercial and cell tower site builds. Identify fiber and coax routes and requirements for both outside (OSP) and inside (ISP) plant construction. Coordinator will determine optimum route based on existing plant and other factors such as right-of-way, cost, etc. Additional duties will include identifying permitting requirements, putting together BOM’s and Notice-To-Proceed (NTP) packages for contractors, trouble shooting on site, performing QC, and updating as-builts. Candidate will interact with customers and building/land owners as necessary to set up surveys and coordinate scheduling.
