Qualifications
If MSO required, must be NCTI certified in the three modules listed or get NCTI certified within 45 days of hire: Core/Video, Digital Speed Data and Digital Voice.

Job Description
•Technician is responsible for installing, relocating, disconnecting, troubleshooting and auditing cable service and ancillary equipment in the field.
•Must follow departmental installation policies in compliance with OSHA and NEC standards.
•Must respond to customer requests and answer customer questions in a professional, courteous, and effective manner.
•Must properly operate, maintain, and safeguard all tools and equipment in technician’s care.
•Must maintain an up-to-date knowledge of customer premise equipment and program services / listings in order to provide information to customers and market company products.
•Must accurately complete required paperwork including installation checklists, time sheets, service orders, vehicle inspection reports, various logs and other reports in a timely manner and in accordance with company and departmental policies.
•Must maintain, organize and stock vehicle with the proper tools and equipment in order to perform required duties.
•Must be able to drive to customers’ locations throughout the day.
•Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and late shifts as required.
•Must be able to travel (including, working out of other offices and providing coverage for other areas).
•Perform other duties as requested.
