• Ability to read, evaluate, and interpret schematics, diagrams and maps.
• Understanding of fiber optic cable splicing and testing process.
• Experience troubleshooting fiber optic splicing and testing issues.

• General understanding of utility construction, both ISP and OSP.

Job Description
Description- Southeast Power Corporation seeks a Fiber Optic Splicing & Testing Project Manager to fill an immediate need. The successful candidate will be joining a strong, established management team. This division has a fiber splicing and testing group currently in place. This is a full time, permanent, salaried position working predominantly from Spartanburg, SC. Responsibilities
• Manage field personnel to include training
• Coordinate and meet project schedules
• Technical inspection and quality assurance
• Technical documentation compliance and submittal
• Insure best customer relations possible
• Maintain margins and financial goals
• Assist in the bid/quote process.
Position Requirements
• Travel is required and will vary. 50% is typical.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Overtime is required as needed.
• Schedule must be flexible to include work performed during maintenance windows.
