Qualifications
Must have a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of experience with FTTH/CATV Installations. A valid driver’s license is required. Candidate must be able to perform job duties with little or no supervision. Must be able to access customer’s attic, crawl spaces and work in confined spaces.

GENERAL SUMMARY
G4S Technology has six open positions of Home Service Technician. This position will be installing PON networks, fusion splicing, placing ONT and BBU as well as copper loops with fiber fed Calix equipment, for DSL, IPTV and dial tone.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
• Counting line equipment blocks in the CO, cross connecting (wire wrap) to the cable side of the frame.
• Maintain all serving cable, splicing in drops, (no terminals) translating work order pair numbers to color code.
• BSW drop to the Network interface (NID), IW quad, CAT5, (and Coax/ HPNA), bonding and grounding with #6 ground wire.
• Install Modem (RG), switches, set top boxes and setting up computers and wireless networks.
