Pay is bi-weekly w/Bank Direct Deposit. Hourly and Unit rates available..... Seeking Experienced Telecom Techs only that provides high quality work. Hourly rate compensation is dependent on experience.
Qualifications
Experienced Telecom Splicing Techs (combination of training and 3-years relevant work experience.) Must pass drug test and background check. Primary splicing in the copper arena but some fiber splicing available as well.
Other Requirements
Qualified candidates must have own truck/van, hand tools and splicing/testing/locating tools. Must be able to work in underground, buried and aerial plant environments.
Job Description
CFX Communications is seeking experienced Copper Cable Splicers. The Copper Cable Splicer must possess the necessary skills (combination of training and 3-years relevant work experience), tools and test equipment to perform functions including splicing, testing (including pair continuity) and count verification of all types, sizes and gages of existing and newly constructed PIC and Paper Insulated, color-coded and non-color coded cables. This includes but not limited to: “Placing and testing pressurized and non-pressurized closures on all types and sizes of cable” Rearranging all outside plant facilities (i.e.: cable throws) “Pair identification and tagging (tone or battery method) “Read, comprehend, and correct information on cable prints and throw sheets.” Preparation of all job related work reports (time sheets, corrected cable plans and throw sheets, material sheets.) Pay rate: Depending on the Experience.
