• NCTI, SCTE, BCT or BCE certifications a plus

Job Description
Our Install and Service Supervisor position is responsible for leading the daily activities of the Installation & Service Department for Ritter Communications' Residential Services division in Northeast Arkansas, coordinating and supervising assigned team to ensure employee productivity while delivering quality customer service. The Installation & Service Supervisor leads by example, is detailed oriented, possesses thorough knowledge of the installation and service practices and procedures. Must be able to make quick decisions while keeping focused on overall company and team goals.

Essential Job Functions:
• Directs daily activities of installations and trouble tickets for Residential Services division. Responsible for leading, providing direction, coaching, mentoring and overall development of assigned personnel.
• Troubleshoots and ensures repair of outside plant, makes necessary system adjustments and responds to customer inquiries.
• Must be capable of performing all installation and service duties of assigned personnel.
• Ensures that all activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations such as CLI, FCC, PSC, OSHA, DOT, etc.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance such as riding the system checking leaks and loss, broken lashing, limbs on wires, etc.
• Inspects and maintains plant to ensure quality technical performance.
• Interviews, recommends selection, schedules, motivates, trains, evaluates, and supervises assigned technical staff.
• Maintains a strong customer focus. Makes certain that customer complaints are satisfied and resolved in a timely manner at all times.
• Maintains a sense of urgency when dealing with customer issues.
• Enforces policies and procedures, as appropriate; interprets and administers programs according to company policies and procedures as applicable. Makes recommendations for policy amendments where necessary.
• Works and interacts with other departments for the overall benefit of Ritter Communications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of the Telecommunications Industry.
• Knowledge of outside plant operations, technology, and equipment.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code, OSHA, FCC rules and regulations, and related state and local codes.
• Knowledge of Installation techniques and equipment.
• Skill in providing sound leadership to direct and indirect reports.
• Skill in listening to others and providing feedback and coaching to reports.
• Skill in operating various office equipment such as personal computer, various software programs, and telephone systems.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Skill in public speaking.
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
• Ability to work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required; and must be able to be on call for 24 hours/ 7 days a week.
• Ability to demonstrate skills in leadership and general management.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to make sound decisions using information at hand.
• Ability to create a team environment and sustain employee morale. Ability to work closely with technical and office personnel, customers, outside contractors, utility companies and the general public.
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license without any major violations.
This position will be working at our Marked Tree, AR office.
