Pay
Per unit. There is a line item for everything you will do. Pay is contractually 30 days out. However, it has always been a max of 3 weeks. Haven't gone 30 days yet. 10% retention capped at $2000
Qualifications
Good splicing and balancing skills with an understanding of construction. I need a tech that can adapt and do all things splicing.
Other Requirements
Need reliable truck, ladder or hooks, All coring tools and hand tools. A great attitude and the desire to make some money. There is scheduled maintenance that can only be done during the "maintenance window" (nights). You will have a hand in what is scheduled and how much. There is also plenty of day splicing to keep you very busy.
Job Description
Looking for a talented coax splicer (maybe 2) to work in central Massachusetts. This is splicing work for a major MSO that will cover more than 20 towns. There is a little bit of everything involved. From simple plant extensions to new underground pockets, to reconfiguration of existing plant. Setting peds, ground rods, replacing lockboxes, face plate changes, even wreckout. There is a line item for everything you do. About 10-15% easement. Great group of people to work with who have a lot of experience. The construction crews that will put up your coax are a talented group and know what they are doing. Any of you that have had to go out and splice after a crew that did not know what they were doing understands the value of this kind of team. This is a long term gig. Prefer a local splicer(s). This is going to be the dream job for a good splicer that can do it all.
