Qualifications

-5+ years of wireless industry experience -Strong wireless construction experience, specific to the area -Strong financial acumen -Strong understanding of Selling, General and Administrative Expenses (SG&A), Profit and Loss Statement (P&L) -Experience building and re-building teams -Strong computer skills in Microsoft Project, Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint -Knowledge of JDE would be an asset, but not required -PMP or equivalent experience in project management required

Job Description

DirectSat USA is a home service provider for DIRECTV, specializing in providing satellite installation services. Due to exceptional growth, DirectSat USA is seeking an experienced Project Manager for our Albany, GA location.

The Project Manager plans and directs operational activities within specific site location by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned

-Oversee business financial and provide reporting to management
-Responsible for maintaining building facilities, fleet, equipment
-Assist business development and management teams with initiatives/projects as assigned
-Direct work to meet customer and company specifications
-Ensure that company policy is adhered to with respect to, but not limited to, safety, fleet, etc.
-Monitor the performance and achievements of the employees
-Travel, up to 85% may be required, for job related functions
-Assist with work overflow
-Responsible for all safety, schedule and quality issues
-Establish and manage all aspects of the Local Office operations to ensure annual profit targets are achieved
-Provide all sales-related functions to our local customers to ensure annual sales targets are achieved
-Provide hands-on project management for all projects
-Establish/monitor/manage annual budgets and forecast reports
-Establish/monitor/manage monthly budget updates and profit and loss forecasts as required
-Evaluate and select local subcontractors in accordance with established procedures, the applicable Codes and Standards and customer needs
-Establish/direct operating procedures within the Local Office in accordance with established guidelines and procedures
-Establish and arrange to provide adequate training for all Local Office Associates
-Establish and manage manpower requirements
-Perform and record customer visits, entertainment and attend sales conventions as required
-Provide customer follow-up for: general inquiries, feedback on ongoing and completed projects as required
-Maintain supplies of promotional literature
-Review Engineering designs, drawings and project specifications to ensure compliance with customer requirements
-Implements the working terms of the project contract
-Initiates projects, including identifying and analyzing preliminary needs, budget considerations, time and resource estimates and defining the project scope and objectives
-Provides direction and structure for the project, establishing clear and precise goals and objectives and establishing a logical objective basis for and budgets
-Establish, manage and communicate the project schedule to customers, subcontractors and Local Office project team members
-Tracks and manages the project budget
-Establishes and applies program level processes to ensure an efficient project implementation
-Acts as the primary project level interface to daily customer issues and updates
-Directs the project team, manages the work effort and tracks the progress against the project plan
-Directs and supports the Installation contractor in job priorities and job completion
-Evaluates project, results and closes the project by getting final customer sign-off
-Supervise field activities to successfully implement all projects on site
-Establish/monitor installation schedules and delivery priorities
-Monitor/direct project overhead and operating costs to ensure profitability
-Interface and cooperate with other Branches as required, including providing supports for specific projects or provision of manpower and equipment
-Maintains an equipment structure and level to accomplish warehouse mission
-Assigns safe storage configuration to ensure that materials are accessible to carry out the receiving and distribution processes in a safe and efficient manner
-Participates in the procurement of equipment, peripheral parts and consumable materials by generating Purchase Orders in conjunction with the Logistics and Project Management
-Monitors the unloading of materials into receiving and ensures that materials are appropriately accounted for and inspected. Communicates with the corporate shared service staff to resolve discrepancies in regard to invoices, packing slips and receiver reports
-Handles all paperwork generated for the transportation and distribution of materials in and out of the warehouse
-Utilizes the Inventory Management System for daily tracking of inventory
-Manages the monthly physical inventory reporting processes at the site level and collaborates with Field Supervisors to obtain physical inventory of equipment stored in fleet trucks to be rolled up into the monthly inventory reporting process
-Manages the distribution of equipment to the appropriate personnel based upon work orders, average usage for the market and input from corporate
-Prepares weekly on-hand asset reports used in the reconciliation of on-hand and field assets
-Provides weekly cycle count report used by corporate to place inventory and equipment orders

Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises Training Managers consisting of administrative and field staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
