Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
•B.S Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
•Familiarity with CAT5, Fiber Optics and video concepts and topologies.
•Must have a strong working knowledge of CATV concepts and topologies
•Proficiency with Microsoft Windows (2000, NT, XP or Vista), Macintosh, Adobe Acrobat. PC hardware and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
•Travel within region expected with up to 25% overnight travel required.

EXPERIENCE:
•Experience required in the management of remote teams,
•Experience in translating customer requirements and scope into functional implementation and strong communication to all stakeholders.
•Experience in managing testing and user acceptance criteria.
•Experience identifying new sales and business opportunities.
•Experience in negotiations, management and oversight of contractors.
SKILLS:

Job Description
Management
•Crews regional work force to manage and repair regional networks; approves overtime and vacations as needed.
•Ensures that all technical work is at the quality level required and described in the Pavlov Media standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•Works closely with Pavlov Deployment Project Managers, monitoring all regional projects and providing labor when necessary.
•Recruits and engages contractors when needed; dismisses contractors as warranted.
•With the Regional Sales Manager, makes decisions on direction and growth of market; identifies, qualifies, and scopes new business in the region.
•Identifies trouble networks and prioritizes and plans network re-designs as needed
•Works with NOC to plan maintenance procedures and schedules for networks and video plants in assigned region.
Deployment
•Performs pre-installation inspections at client site.
•Secures and keeps track of company tools, test equipment, and assets.
•Ensures proof of performance, QA, and data collection for the purpose of project handoff to the NOC.
•Provides daily updates to the Director of Field Operations, Project Manager, and the National Field Operations Coordinator as needed.
•Crews and oversees local contract labor for new projects in region.
•Identifies potential facility issues that may be detrimental to overall system performance and ensures resolution on a local level.
•Ensure site surveys are performed per SOPs.
Technical Consulting:
•Periodically assists NOC to resolve property tickets.
•Provides technical, procedural and product guidance to our field technicians; creates, logs and updates all cases into a ticketing system within the established timeframe.
•Resolves or escalates site issues or questions within the established and acceptable timeframe.
•Maintains ownership of issues and follows through on all customer issues until those issues are properly closed.
•Keeps technically abreast of all Pavlov products and services, bug fixes, software releases, and troubleshooting methods.
•Assists with training sessions for field staff and contractors; mentors other Pavlov employees whenever possible.
