Job Description

InLine is seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator/Manager. The Construction Coordinator/Manager will be responsible for daily activities as directed by Project Manager both aerial and underground.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:

• Maintain daily paperwork required for the project site, subcontractors and local jurisdictions
• Responsible assisting in planning, and directing the construction project
• Implement and follow through with job instructions provided by the Project Manager
• Schedule and manage subcontractors and materials delivery
• Ensure safety and quality control requirements at your sites, subcontractors, and with your team
• Provide leadership, guidance and actively train/promote learning to all your team members
• Maintain equipment and vehicles in an operational condition at all times
• Assists Project Manager with project budgeting, layout, schedule, and planning

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Will be responsible for the daily operations of his/her area

• Knowledgeable in aerial construction
• Knowledgeable in underground construction
• Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Organized with a strong attention to detail and capable of working with minimal supervision
• Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scopes of work
• Must be able to create materials list based on plans/scope of work, order and compile materials for crew and subcontractors in advance of deployment
• Recognize and provide a safe work site with acceptable quality and efficiency.
• Demonstrated expertise in construction skills and general industry knowledge
• Job related certifications such as safety, rescue, connector training and experience with various manufacturers preferred
• Present professional image at all times
• Comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor work environment (direct exposure to sun and heat)
• The ability to work weekends, nights and in extreme weather conditions if necessary
• Ability to stoop, stand, sit, climb, handle items with hands and fingers, see clearly 20 ft or more, talk and hear clearly
• Must have experienced computer skills especially with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Preferred computer knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint
• Preferred minimum 10 years’ experience in the construction field as a supervisor
