Job Description
HDD Subcontractors Needed – South Atlanta
We are seeking experienced directional drilling subcontractors for a project on the south side of Atlanta.
The project includes more than 5,000 total feet of horizontal directional drilling, consisting of approximately five to six individual bores, with some bores up to approximately 1,500 feet in length.
The work may involve installing 10-inch HDPE SDR 9 casing and subsequently installing twelve 1.25-inch SDR 11 conduits inside the casing, or potentially pulling the twelve 1.25-inch SDR 11 conduits directly without casing.
This is a rural project located along a wide gas-line easement. The drilling operation will be positioned well away from the existing gas line. There is no traffic-control requirement and no significant work-hour restrictions. Some drill setups may be located on mats, and several bores will cross wetlands or small creeks.
We do not currently anticipate significant rock. However, contractors must have equipment capable of completing individual bores up to approximately 1,500 feet and must have the ability to switch over to appropriate rock tooling if rock is encountered.
