Job Description
Blitz Broadband is hiring experienced supervisors, equipment operators, and skilled laborers for an underground telecom project in and around Thomasville, Georgia.
The project involves removing approximately five miles of large copper telecom cable from manhole systems. Crews will use winches, skid steers, buckets, dump trucks, and other equipment to pull, cut, remove, and load large cable.
We are looking for people with experience in:
-Underground telecom or utility construction
-Cable placement or removal
-Manhole work
-Winch and pulling equipment
-Skid steers and other construction equipment
-Crew supervision / foreman positions
This is hard, physical outdoor work and will require working in and around manholes. Blitz provides and requires proper confined-space safety equipment, including harnesses and gas detection.
