Qualifications
Operating, locating, and supporting dual rod rock drills, specifically the Vermeer D23x30 DR or Ditch Witch JT30 ATD.
• Potholing and operating experience utilizing Vac machines and mini excavators.
• Ability to read design prints, follow directions, and work safely in a team environment.
Other Requirements
Experience in drilling in rock using dual rod drills is mandatory.
• Local San Antonio and Austin corridor applicants are preferred, but others will be considered.
• Having an active CDL is considered a strong asset.
• Additional experience with vault installation and conduit splicing is an asset.

We are a local underground contractor along the I-35 corridor with an abundance of telecommunications fiber conduit work right now and through the winter. We are looking to add fully experienced, safety-minded Drill Operators, Locators, and support staff to our local roster.
We don't hide behind capped wages or heavily taxed, one-time sign-on bonuses with one-year clawback clauses. We offer a transparent, uncapped production model. You earn a solid hourly base rate combined with a direct percentage of the gross revenue you put in the ground.
The Math (How You Beat $35/hr):
• Standard 200-foot rock day: Base pay + production incentive = $330+ per shift (approx. $41.00/hour).
• Strong 250-foot rock day: Base pay + production incentive = $375+ per shift (approx. $47.00/hour).
The math is simple: The more pipe you safely put in the ground, the more you take home. Your pay is completely uncapped.
