Previous experience in one or more of the following is required: Fiber drop bury; FTTH / FTTx construction; Residential fiber installation; Underground telecom construction; Missile/pneumatic boring; Fiber blowing; Fiber splicing

Valid driver's license; Reliable work vehicle; Required OSHA PPE; Smartphone for job-site documentation; Hand-trenching and restoration tools; 1.25-inch missile preferred; 1.5-inch acceptable; Air compressor capable of maintaining 120+ PSI; Fiber blow gun; Light meter capable of reading 1577 nm; Visual Fault Locator (VFL); Fusion splicer compatible with 900 µm / 250 µm fiber; Fiber preparation and termination tools; NID mounting tools and hardware

We are looking for experienced Fiber Drop Technicians to complete residential fiber installations throughout Irvine and Orange County.

Responsibilities include:

Complete fiber drops from terminal to customer residence
Hand trench and/or bore as needed
Maintain a minimum 12-inch burial depth
Install conduit and blow fiber
Mount exterior NIDs
Perform fiber splicing and test light levels
Backfill and restore work areas
Repair minor irrigation damage caused during installation
Take required job-site photos
Submit complete Work Order closeout documentation

Technicians are expected to complete assignments independently from initial route verification through final closeout.
