Qualifications
Telecom/AAV experience with construction drawings and SOWs. Skilled in EMT/rigid conduit installation, machine and hand trenching, underground utility work, core drilling and penetrations. OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, PPE and equipment certifications as required. Knowledge of 811 utility locating and excavation safety. Equipped for trenching, conduit installation and testing, with experience in reporting, as-builts and project closeout.
Other Requirements
Crews must have reliable work vehicles, trenchers/excavators, compactors, generators, conduit/core-drilling tools, ladders/lifts, testing equipment, hand tools and all required PPE to complete work safely and independently.
Job Description
We are seeking experienced construction companies with competent, qualified, and properly equipped crews to support telecom infrastructure projects. The primary scope of work consists of backhaul fiber installation from the MMP to the Wireless BTS Cabinet, including all associated above-ground and underground construction activities.
Companies must have crews capable of independently executing the work from construction drawings and SOWs while meeting required safety, quality, production, and closeout standards.
General Scope & Responsibilities:
Install backhaul fiber from the MMP to the Wireless BTS Cabinet
Install and route fiber through required underground and above-ground pathways
Install EMT and rigid conduit, including supports, hangers, bends, and associated hardware
Perform machine trenching and hand trenching
Perform excavation and install underground conduit
Complete utility crossings, backfilling, compaction, and site restoration
Perform core drilling and required wall, floor, and structural penetrations
Perform grounding and bonding as required
Safely work around existing underground and above-ground utilities
Follow 811 utility locating and excavation requirements
Read and execute construction drawings, site plans, and project SOWs
Provide qualified operators for required machinery and equipment
Maintain daily production reports and detailed installation photos
Complete redlines, as-builts, testing, and required closeout documentation
Meet project production schedules and workmanship standards
Follow all customer, OSHA, and site-specific safety requirements
Company / Crew Requirements:
Construction companies must provide competent, experienced, and self-sufficient crews with the appropriate work vehicles, trenchers/excavators, compactors, generators, core-drilling equipment, conduit tools, fiber installation equipment, ladders/lifts, hand and power tools, testing equipment, and PPE required to safely complete the assigned scope.
Companies must maintain all required insurance, licenses, certifications, and operator qualifications applicable to the work.
