Qualifications
Prior experience with FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) in-home installation is preferred. General experience with other major telecom or cable providers will also be considered.
Other Requirements
Must be fully equipped with own tools and a reliable truck. Willingness to pass a drug test and background check is required.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) in-home installations, repairs, and maintenance.
Service fiber drops, taps, and connectors, including splicing and ONT/router setup.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity and signal issues at the customer premise.
Complete installs, upgrades, and disconnects in accordance with work orders and SLA requirements.
Follow all safety standards and properly use required PPE and equipment.
Communicate professionally and courteously with customers during on-site visits.
Accurately document completed work, materials used, and job status per company reporting requirements.
Coordinate with dispatch and crew leads to manage daily schedules and job assignments.
