Pass background and drug screen, Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; Must provide own truck, tools, ladders, and fusion splicer; Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; Ability to climb ladders and perform physical work; Strong attention to detail and professional customer interaction.
Job Description
Technician must have a reliable truck, van or SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and 28’ ladder (with ladder rack preferred).
Technician must have their own tools (drills and standard telecommunications hand tools) to perform the job, as well as an Android smart phone and Windows 10 Laptop.
Technician must have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This includes lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, a hard hat, a reflective safety vest, a fall resistor, and safety cones. Other equipment may be required by local management.
Comfortable working at heights no greater than 25’ and safely moving and lifting up to 80 lbs.
Must work varying shifts and hours including possible mandatory overtime, weekends and holidays.
