Qualifications
Experience in residential in-home cable and FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) installation, including drops, ONT setup, and customer connectivity. Must supply own white service truck and a complete set of installation tools.
Other Requirements
Applicants must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and comprehensive background check. Must hold a valid, active driver's license and possess a Social Security card for employment eligibility verification.
Job Description
Perform residential in-home installations of cable, internet, and FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) services, ensuring reliable connectivity for every customer. Install, connect, and configure equipment including routers, modems, and fiber-optical network terminals (ONTs). Run, route, splice, and terminate cable and fiber lines to meet company and industry installation standards. Test all connections upon completion, diagnose service issues, and perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on-site. Keep work areas clean and organized throughout each job, and ensure every installation meets quality and safety requirements. Represent the company professionally by providing courteous, customer-focused service, including a clear walkthrough of equipment setup and basic functionality. Manage time effectively to complete installations accurately and efficiently while meeting daily job expectations.
