Experience performing residential in-home cable installations, including running and connecting drops, setting up customer equipment, and ensuring proper service connectivity. Must supply own white service truck and a complete set of installation tools.
Other Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and pass a comprehensive background check prior to hire. A valid, active driver's license is required, along with a Social Security card to verify employment eligibility.
Job Description
Technicians in this role handle the installation, repair, and maintenance of aerial and underground cable and fiber lines, including work on coaxial and fiber connections such as drops, taps, and connectors. They're also responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting connectivity issues to keep service running reliably.
Day-to-day, the job includes completing installs, upgrades, and disconnects accurately according to work orders and SLA timelines, while following safety standards and using PPE and equipment correctly. Technicians represent the company on-site, so a professional, customer-focused approach is expected throughout every visit, along with accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and job status.
