Technicians will perform residential FTTH installations and service repairs, install and activate ONTs, gateways, routers, and Wi-Fi equipment, install and maintain residential fiber drops, and perform fiber optic fusion splicing when required by assigned work orders.

The position includes preparing, stripping, cleaning, cleaving, splicing, terminating, and protecting fiber, testing optical signal levels, verifying service performance, troubleshooting damaged or failed fiber connections, diagnosing network and activation issues, and resolving service-related problems in the field.

Technicians are responsible for completing work orders, required documentation, and job-site photographs accurately. All installations must be clean, organized, and professional. Technicians are expected to protect customer property, maintain a clean work area, and communicate professionally with customers throughout installations and repairs.

Clear and timely communication with dispatch, field support, and operations is required. Technical issues, customer concerns, delays, or field conditions that may affect completion of an assigned work order must be communicated promptly.
