Job Description
Carpe Diem Genesis is adding experienced **FTTH Fiber Drop Contractors and Drop Crews** for an active Fiber-to-the-Home construction program in the Toledo, Ohio area.
This is production work on an active FTTH build. We are looking for experienced contractors who can mobilize quickly and consistently complete quality installations.
### Pay
**$50.00 PER COMPLETED DROP**
**Scope:** MST Optical Tap to NID
* Pre-connectorized fiber drop from MST optical tap to the residence
* Proper routing and attachment of drop
* NID mounted and placed at the house
* Required as-built documentation
* Production must pass CDG QC
**Payment Terms:**
* **Net 15 days**
* Payment based on verified, completed production that has passed QC
### Work Available
This is an active **Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH)** construction program with drop work available for qualified contractors.
We are looking for individuals and crews experienced with:
* FTTH drop construction
* MST-to-home fiber drops
* Pre-connectorized fiber drops
* Aerial and buried drop placement
* NID installation
* Residential fiber construction
* Reading FTTH construction prints
* Proper fiber handling and bend-radius requirements
* As-built documentation and field reporting
### Qualifications
Prior FTTH, fiber drop, CATV, telecommunications, or similar outside-plant experience is strongly preferred.
Contractors must be capable of completing installations safely, professionally, and in accordance with customer construction standards.
Quality matters. All completed units must pass customer and CDG QC before becoming billable production.
### Contractor Requirements
Contractors are expected to provide the appropriate vehicle, tools, ladders, PPE, and equipment necessary to safely perform the assigned work.
Contractors are responsible for:
* Following all OSHA and customer safety requirements
* Providing their own vehicle and tools (must have their own ladders\bucket)
* Proper work-zone and traffic-control practices
* Protecting existing utilities and facilities
* Completing required field documentation
* Correcting workmanship-related rework or callbacks
* Maintaining professional conduct when working on residential property
Rework, callbacks, and non-conforming installations resulting from contractor workmanship are not separately billable.
