Qualifications

Previous FTTH, telecommunications, cable, satellite, or low voltage installation experience preferred, Fiber optic installation and troubleshooting experience is a plus, Ability to use fiber testing equipment such as optical powermeters and visual fault locators.Ability to operate drills, hand tools, ladders, and other installation equipment safely.Basic understanding of home networking, routers, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet. Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills.

Other Requirements

Ability to work independently and manage multiple assigned jobs throughout the day. Valid driver's license ,acceptable driving record required along with general liability and workmanship comp insurance. Ability to pass applicable background and/or drug-screening requirements when required by the project. Must have Truck, basic hand tools. and Ladder. We will leased a splicer to you if necessary

Job Description

Install fiber-optic service at residential and commercial customer locations.
Run fiber from the designated terminal, pedestal, handhole, pole, or network connection point to the customer's premises.
Install and route interior and exterior fiber cabling.
Drill through exterior and interior walls when necessary to properly route service.
Install fiber drops, NIDs/enclosures, ONTs, routers, and other required customer-premise equipment.
Perform fiber terminations, connector installation, and splicing when required.
Test optical signal levels and verify that installations meet required specifications.
Activate internet and other applicable services.
Configure routers and Wi-Fi equipment and confirm proper connectivity.
Troubleshoot fiber, equipment, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
Educate customers on their newly installed equipment and services.
Maintain a clean and professional work area during and after installation.
Properly document completed work, equipment used, test results, and installation details.
Take required photographs and complete electronic work orders.
Maintain company tools, testing equipment, vehicles, and inventory.
Follow all company, customer, OSHA, and job-site safety requirements.
Communicate with supervisors and dispatch regarding job status, problems, damages, or additional work required.
