Qualifications
We are seeking experienced underground utility crews and 1099 subcontractors for ongoing Altice/Optimum underground construction projects throughout Long Island. Work is year-round with immediate openings for qualified teams.
Job Description
Year-round work available. Immediate openings for qualified contractors.
Must have experience with:
• Missile boring
• Street cutting
• Hand digging and trenching
• Conduit installation
• Pulling coax and fiber
• Underground service installations
• Restoration and cleanup
Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years of verifiable underground utility construction experience
• Prior experience with missile boring and street cutting required
• aMust operate as a 1099 independent contractor
• Must have own truck, tools, and required underground equipment
• Ability to provide a full, experienced crew
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and utility locating practices
• Ability to work in roadways, residential areas, and active job sites
