Experienced Corp to Corp partners with Underground Drop Bury experience and In-Home Fiber Installation; or experienced individuals.
Other Requirements
Must provide your own machines, tools and insurance. • Experience with residential FTTH drop installations. • Proficient with SC/APC connectors, fiber termination, cleaning, and testing. • Familiar with NID installation, cable routing, and exterior mounting. • Able to safely work aerial, pedestal, and roadside environments. • Professional workmanship with strong attention to detail. • Ability to document work accurately in mobile work management systems.
Job Description
Scope of Work- Installs
Perform residential fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) installations by routing and terminating fiber optic cable from the exterior network interface into customer premises. Install and activate optical network terminals (ONTs), routers, and associated networking equipment while maintaining clean, professional cable management and installation standards. Verify optical light levels, configure Wi-Fi networks, and complete wired and wireless performance testing to ensure service quality. Educate customers on equipment operation and basic troubleshooting, then document completed work with testing results, photos, and closeout notes. Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and installation best practices throughout every project.

Install temporary fiber drops from distribution terminal to residence. Route and secure drop cable using safe, professional routing methods. Install sidewalk/walkway cable protectors (“rubbers”) where required. Mount and weatherproof NID enclosures. Install smoke tube from NID to ground level. Terminate fiber at both the distribution terminal and NID. Verify optical power and service quality using OPM/VFL. Label installations and document completed work with photos and job notes.
