Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of FTTH installation Experience with fusion splicing and fiber troubleshooting. Ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Other Requirements
Presentable white color work truck or van with ladder rack . All tools required to perform FTTH installations. Fusion splicer, cleaver, optical power meter, VFL, and standard hand tools 28ft ladder . Ability to pass a background check, if required.
Job Description
Seeking experienced Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Installers to support residential and commercial fiber deployments throughout Albuquerque, Las Cruces, and Santa Fe.
Responsibilities include:
• Installing fiber drops from the network to the customer's home or business.
• Mounting and installing the Network Interface Device (NID).
• Running fiber into the residence home or business.
• Performing fusion splices at the handhole and NID when required.
• Installing and activating the ONT and customer router.
• Testing services to ensure proper operation.
• Educating customers on their new internet service and assisting with device connectivity when needed.
• Completing all required documentation, photos, and work order information accurately before closing each job.
