Job Description

We are contracting experienced coax installation technicians for Xfinity/Comcast network installs across Greater Boston. This is 1099 independent-contractor work with per-piece production pay — high earners run their own route, truck, and schedule.

What you'll do
• Coax/cable installation and service on the Xfinity/Comcast network across Greater Boston
• Work to Xfinity's quality metrics — NPS, TU, FTR (first-time-right) and BVT
• Run your own truck, tools, and daily route as an independent contractor
• Deal directly with customers and dispatch in the field

What you'll need — every item is a hard requirement
• Real coax/cable install experience on a cable network (Xfinity/Comcast, Spectrum, Cox, or similar)
• Your own van or truck with professionally installed ladder racks
• Your own tools, including a ladder
• An active LLC or S-Corp — this is 1099 work (a credible commitment to set one up before onboarding also works)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening for Xfinity badging
• Comfortable English with customers and dispatch

Pay & terms — read this carefully
• Per-piece production pay. Technicians average $1,700–$2,500 per week. That is an average and a range based on production — it is not a guaranteed weekly wage.
• $200/day per diem through the end of September
• $5,000 sign-on bonus for technicians NOT currently badged with Xfinity — paid after 60 days, conditional on maintaining a first-time-right (FTR) score of 92% or better
• 1099 independent contractor: you invoice through your LLC or S-Corp. No W-2 benefits, and you cover your own vehicle, tools, insurance and taxes.
• 5–8 openings. Start is roughly 2–2.5 weeks after onboarding and badging.

About Us

InfraSquad is a skilled-trades subcontractor. We build and supply crews — licensed electricians, fiber and low-voltage technicians, and cable/coax installers — for contractors running commercial, industrial and network infrastructure work.

We're tradespeople-first in how we operate:

• Every technician is vetted before they hit a job site. Licenses and certifications are verified up front, not after you've wasted a day.
• We're straight about pay, schedule and requirements before you commit. If a job isn't a fit for you, we say so.
• You deal with people who know the work — not a call center reading a script.
• Your information goes only to the crew you're being placed with. We don't sell leads or circulate résumés.

We currently run crews across Texas — Dallas–Fort Worth, Austin and El Paso — and in Greater Boston, on work spanning commercial and industrial electrical construction, fiber and low-voltage, and cable/coax network installation.

This posting is for coax installation work on the Xfinity/Comcast network in Greater Boston.
