Job Description
B3 Broadband LLC is hiring Fiber Optic & Coax Installation Technicians for ongoing residential and business/commercial telecommunications installations in the Cincinnati , Ohio area.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position paid by piece rate/production, not hourly. We are seeking dependable, motivated technicians who are ready to work, learn, and grow in the telecommunications industry.
Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
Responsibilities
Residential and business fiber optic installations
Residential and commercial coax cable installations
Equipment setup and activation
Troubleshooting service and signal issues
Running and securing cable professionally
Reading work orders and completing job documentation
Providing professional customer service at homes and businesses
Maintaining safety and quality standards
Requirements
Must have own truck or work van
Must have own basic technician tools
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, attics, crawlspaces, and ladders
Professional appearance and customer-friendly attitude
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Fiber optic installation
Coax cable installation
Residential or commercial telecommunications experience
Fiber splicing or OTDR testing
