The Cable Installation Technician installs, maintains, and repairs Comcast’s services including video, high-speed internet, voice, and home security systems. The role requires working directly with customers, climbing ladders, using hand tools, and performing basic wiring and configuration. Install, test, and troubleshoot cable TV, internet, phone, and home security services. Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure signal quality and connectivity. Educate customers on how to use installed services and equipment. Verify service by testing equipment and connections. Maintain accurate service records through handheld devices or paper documentation. Climb utility poles and ladders and work in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces and attics). Adhere to safety procedures and company policies. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and coworkers. Maintain inventory and tools, ensuring proper care and use. Work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
