Job Description
FTTH Fiber Splicer
SkyRock Communications is seeking experienced FTTH Fiber Splicers for a production-based contract opportunity in Memphis, TN. We are looking for self-motivated professionals who can work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and meeting production goals.
Responsibilities
* Perform fiber optic splicing for FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) networks.
* Read and interpret fiber schematics, splice matrices, and construction prints.
* Conduct OTDR testing and analyze test results to verify network integrity.
* Troubleshoot and repair fiber optic issues as needed.
* Ensure all work meets customer specifications and industry standards.
* Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
* Follow all safety policies and procedures while working in the field.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an FTTH Fiber Splicer.
* Proficient with fusion splicing and fiber optic testing equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret fiber schematics and construction drawings.
* Experience performing OTDR testing and documenting results.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Reliable transportation and ability to work in the Memphis area.
* Ability to work independently and consistently meet production expectations.
Compensation
Production-based pay
