Fiber Drop Technician – Full Time
Ritchie Installation & Communications (RIC) is looking to add a qualified Fiber Drop Technician to our growing team. We work directly with multiple electric cooperatives and broadband providers, completing residential fiber drop construction throughout the region.
This is a full-time hourly position with overtime opportunities, annual performance bonuses, and room for advancement.
Our work includes:
Aerial fiber drops
Underground direct bury installations
Directional boring
Basic restoration and customer service
We're looking for someone who puts safety first, enjoys solving problems, and takes pride in delivering quality work. The ideal candidate is dependable, works well in a team environment, and is committed to providing excellent service.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company paid)
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Fiber drop construction experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
